Contribute a Story
Like everything else in the Alliance, news stories happen collaboratively. If you have a news story worth sharing—either published or unpublished—please send it to us. Even if it’s just an idea for a great story, please let us know!
What makes a story worth sharing with the Alliance? To draw from a simple definition of news, a story should be timely, important and interesting. What is God doing through Bible translation and related ministries in your part of the world? Your story might encourage and inspire others around the world.
Stories can be local or national, but they should hold interest for a global audience. Is there something about your work that others might want to learn from or be encouraged by? Perhaps you’ve seen a new kind of collaboration, a creative strategy or an innovation in technology or community engagement.
A few guidelines:
- Stories do not need to be written in English—we accept submissions in any language.
- If the story is already published on your website, we can just link to it directly.
- Please include photos or video clips whenever possible. Photos should be accompanied by a caption, explaining what is happening, where the photo was taken and who took it. In some cases, you could even consider sending us a photo story—told entirely through a series of images and captions.
- If people are identifiable in photos or videos, please ensure you have their permission for the image to be published online.
