Alliance seeks next Executive Director

God’s Word transforms lives, strengthens churches and brings hope across generations. Bible translation is part of that story, as communities around the world encounter God’s Word in their own languages. Its future calls for leaders who listen deeply, build trust across cultures and empower others.

Within this context, the Wycliffe Global Alliance is searching for its next Executive Director.

Could this be your next calling?

The Wycliffe Global Alliance is seeking its next Executive Director to serve a worldwide community of more than 100 organisations united in God’s mission through Bible translation.

The opportunity: Bring our global community together around a shared vision, strengthen local leadership and help a diverse global movement respond to new opportunities with faith and wisdom.

The challenge: Lead through change. Articulate a compelling shared vision, strengthen the support the Alliance offers its organisations, and engage support organisations and financial partners in advancing the work. This calls for leadership that honours local autonomy while strengthening global unity, trust, mutual accountability and financial sustainability.

We are looking for a leader who brings:

  • A deep commitment to Jesus Christ and a humble, prayerful approach to leadership.
  • At least five years of senior leadership experience and a relevant master’s degree.
  • Proven ability to lead across cultures, develop leaders and empower local churches.
  • Strategic vision, significant fundraising experience and the ability to turn plans into meaningful outcomes.
  • Emotional maturity, integrity and resilience through change.

Feel called—or know someone who might be?

Expressions of interest, or candidate recommendations, are welcomed confidentially by 30 November 2026.
